Bra Woes

Bra Woe of the Month

The Hooks and Clasps on Your Bra Are Painful!

Let me ask you a few questions:

Do you wash your bras in the washing machine?
How old are your bras?
Did you lose weight or gain?

If any of the above apply then you need to get back into the fitting room.
Bras are to be hand washed to extend the life of the garment. I recommend Lasting Care. Machine washing can damage the hooks during agitation. If the hooks get hooked into the holes of the drum, then the bra will not only get stretched out but also open the hooks and this will cause the bra to ride up and jab you in the back causing pain and discomfort.

If your bras are 5 years old, be realistic, your asking a lot from your bra. A new Car can cost starting over $12,000.00 and it will need oil changes every three months and may only last 10 years. Are you only working with one bra a year? If the answer is yes then you are putting at least 5824 miles of wear and tear on that bra.

If you gain weight or lose weight, you don't have to throw away a good bra. Just put it aside because you deserve to feel comfortable. Most women go up and down in weight and its nice to be comfortable all the time. Get yourself back into the fitting room and be comfortable. If you changed in bra size, put the older bra in a baggie and label it with your body weight in which the bra feels comfortable to wear. Don't wait until you lose weight to feel good. This is a big mistake most women make, they would rather buy bigger tops and sag, then to buy a proper fitting bra, to feel better and look slimmer. When you continue to wear the bra that doesn't fit anymore, you are taking a risk on prematurely damaging the bra that doesn't fit. The under wires will pop out.
